Germany - Dresden to Berlin

There are many museums in Dresden. The Albertinum was named for King Albert of Saxony and was built on the foundations of a former armoury. It was completed in 1887 but destroyed during WW11 bombings and didn't reopen until 1953. It is is a modern art museum and hosts the New Masters Gallery and the Dresden State Sculpture Collection.
